The Friends of Thetford Dad’s Army Museum

In January 2008 a small steering group felt that in order to develop the museum further a ‘Friends’ organisation should be set up.  This was duly done and the ‘Friends’ now has its own constitution and bank account and is seeking funding to develop the museum and the tours further.

Obviously much of what can be achieved will be dependent upon funding and support of individuals. We are always keen to display new pieces of Dad’s Army memorabilia whether they are on loan or donated to the museum.  For anyone interested in joining the ‘Friends’ or becoming involved in the museum, or can help with fundraising for the statue please contact the Secretary Rodney Tregale on (01842) 765774 or the Membership Secretary Allan Billingham on (01842) 811612.
